SaaS License Terms and Conditions (End-User License Agreement)

Our client, an acclaimed and well-established scale-up in the SaaS industry, was using two different sets of License Agreements which were drafted many years ago, when our client first started selling licenses. The Agreements had been modified/updated occasionally, as new needs or issues arose.

Scale-Up Partners was brought in, and her diagnosis revealed that both sets of outdated Agreements were creating a legal void for the client’s most strategic clients. Per Petra’s recommendations, the client chose to implement one single Agreement, along with a structured set of processes to ensure that the client’s terms would prevail over any other terms. Together with the client’s CFO, CEO, sales team and IT department, and in a matter of weeks, the entire 250+ employee company adopted the new processes and License Agreement. As a direct result of this project, the client’s image as a highly professional SaaS actor is now well-established, any employee involved in sales knows exactly how to proceed from prospection until deal sign-off, contract negotiations have become faster, easier and more serene, resulting in an improved customer experience, reduced costs, and increased efficiency.
